Movie Quote and Misc.

Sooo obviously I did NOT post something everyday or every other day. Who can blame me? I've been so busy and tired with all this stress and sadness in my mind. I mean I love the States, I do! I'm proud to be an American!! But I love it in the UK, I have the most AMAZING friends and I have everything going for me here!!!! But like one of my friends posted on Facebook, "Don’t dwell on the past.  Your history can’t  be erased, but your future is yet to be written.  Make the most of what’s going to happen, instead of worrying about what you can’t change.  Don’t waste your time being sad, because your wasting away moments in which you could be happy.”  These are wise words, but I don’t agree with them fully.  Take, for instance, that last line, I feel that it is a half-half situation.  If you do not become sad at some point in your life, you will never have a conscience or can relate with other people who have felt sadness.  I feel it is necessary to  be sad, but not spend your whole life being sad and this is what the other half of it is saying.  But enough of that.

Movie quote time!!!!!!!!

Love lost, love found, love lost again.”                                                                                                                          “Starting to sound a bit like luggage, but good.”

School started the other day, on a Friday, which made no sense to me but we got our schedules and went to 3 classes.  So me and my friend Gemma, went to Science.  I had moved up a class and so did my other friend Alaima (pronounced a-lima NOT a-llama, that will just make her mad).  So I was pretty mad that Gemma, Alice, Alaima, and I have all the same class together for once, you see we’re like THIS, wait you can’t see that I mean like reeaaallly close amaaazzinngg best friends.  Then we go to Math, Alaima had moved up as well. ALL 4 OF US!!!! This ssssuuuccckks!!!! I’m gonna be leaving and errrrrgggg. Then we go to Religious Education (or R.E.) and that was pretty boring, but OOOOOOOOF! it sucks.  So tomorrow, Alice will be back in school and then Alaima comes back to school Wednesday.  I can’t wait to see them!!!!!! :D

So I’ll post how tomorrow goes since I’m gonna have pretty much all new classes.  I feel like I'm sitting REAAALLLY low right now and its a VERY weird feeling.  Wait no it feels more like I have reeeeaallly small body with VERY long arms.

Anywaysssss… so I’m sorry if I’m boring you so I’ll end now.

Movies :)

So I’m back and hopefully I’ll write more frequently now.  I was going to say I was soooooo busy!, which I have been, but not that busy not to blog.  So in all honesty, I’m going to tell you the REAL excuse for not writing……..laziness.  I look at it and then I exit out because I either forget and then exit out at the end because I gotta go or because I’m too lazy to write down whatever it is that happened that day.  Well I’m going to start (hopefully) to write everyday or at least every OTHER day (if anything interesting happens). (:

So I’ve been going to the movies more and more lately.  Like I saw Dinner for Shmucks the other night.  It was soooo funny and I highly recommend it.  But the weirdest thing happened.  So me and my friend have a seat open on either side of us which we were happy to have empty.  But right as the movie was about to start this person comes up and asks, “Is anyone sitting here?” (The seat right next to me) My friend replies no and the person sits down.  But as the person is sitting down they say, “It was lonely up there.”

I’m thinking, “Okayyyyyy…”

Then as the movie really is starting the person whispers to me, “What’s your name?”

I’m sitting there looking at the screen and I’m thinking, “I’m NOT talking to you.  But if he asks again I really should have a name prepared.  Julia… ummm.. no ummm… Julie! I like the sound of that! Yeah, Julie works!”

Then I realized that I didn’t know if the person was a guy or a girl.  So my head is facing the screen and I’m trying to see out of the corners of my eyes if the person had boobs or not.  Finally I gave up, after my 3rd failed attempt as my eyes could not see that far without turning my head.  So I lean over to my friend and I whisper, “Is that a guy or a girl?”

My friend replies, “I think its a guy”

Which was confirmed after hearing his laugh.  It had reached a really funny part and he started to laugh, very deeply and LOUD. “A HAHAHA AH HAHAHA AH HAHAHA OHOOO!” Me and my friend laughed afterwards the first time.  After that it was just weird and kinda awkward.

Then its about halfway through that I realized that the girls name in the movie is, very very ironically, Julie. I figured that the name wouldn’t work and would have to think of a new one but I didn’t.  Then the guy said about the cup holder/place where you put your elbow, “This is here if you need it.”  I was just like, “Ok.” Inside my head going, “Okayyyyyyy” Saying it in my head for the millionth time.  Which reading it over looks like he was just being nice, but you didn’t hear the way he said it.

Thank fully he didn’t talk after that and at the end I got a good look at him.  He had to be a short 13 year old or something like that.  Anyways it was WEIRD.  But overall the movie was good :)

The next day I went to see Toy Story 3 with my other friend and I really REALLY liked it and it was amazing and I cried, but I highly recommend it also. (:

I’m still here!!!!

I participated in the school concert and sang there.  I sang Breathe (2am) by Anna Nalick and I also sang a duet with my friend to Forever and Always by Taylor Swift – they both went pretty well :)  Dad recorded my performance and its on his own blog and I’m going to put it on mine as well.  :)

Hello :)) Again :)

So yesterday I made the mistake of drinking coffee in the morning and not eating ANYTHING else.  I literally could NOT stop shaking or moving.  To make matters worse I had a math exam that lasted for 1 hour and 10 minutes and finished 30 minutes early.  So I was sitting there and couldn’t stop  my legs and feet from going up and down or air running.  I was really, REALLY hyper and totally not myself.  I was really scared that I had gone insane or something but everyone else found it amusing so it was ok :) So it was very VERY weird but ANYWAYS…

In Citizenship (a class thats not very good) and I have to do a campaign soooooo I started a blog called Suffrage @ 16 ( www.forsuffrageat16.blogspot.com ) It would be VERY much appreciated and helpful for my grade if you guys commented and followed it :)

Spring Is Finally Here!

I don’t know what happened to the comment thing on the last post so I’m sorry about that :/ But as I was walking home I saw this magnificent tree that had beautiful green leaves and I just HAD to write about it and everything else I saw on my way home. :

Spring is here.  The new green leaves whisper youth and they spread out creating a canopy of shade.  They guard me from the blazing sun that shone on me relentlessly and speak of new found knowledge.  Although, there are still some trees without their mane and they are still cold, naked, bare, and alone from the deathly winter.  The smell of the grass wafted in front of my nose, mesmerized me and for a second I was in my own world.  Then the bright red of the tulips brought me back to reality and I stared in awe of God’s fine work.  The vibrant royal red complimented the juicy orange middle that led to the light green stem.  The swooosh of the leaves calmed me and the fine lines of the thin little leaves of evergreens wore wise faces.  They were like wrinkles that told the story of the person who wore them.  The fresh baby blue sky comforted  me, reminding me summer was on its way and the cotton balls up in the air told me to enjoy the season one flower at a time.

(:

Oh byyyyy the wayyyyy the other one doesn’t offer work experience.

Work Experience

I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!! I seriously do!!!! God!!! Ok so its this thing here where I’m supposed to be like an intern for a company. Two weeks. Non-pay.  Full days of work.  Its “supposed” to be “FUN”.  Its been anything but.  Seriously.  And this is not the first time its given me grief.  I started looking in FEBRUARY.  I didnt really want to work with my mom so I looked and I looked and I looked and I looked and I looked and I LOOKED.  There were NONE that I wanted to do I contacted all these different retail companies that I would want to do like H&M, New Look, Magazine places, everywhere with fashion.  NO luck. So I settled with Mom’s work.  I finally get the job and GET THIS.  I can’t work there any more!! Because I’m too late and now I can only work in Kingston.  Great and guess what I’ve got until next Thursday to find a job there.  EVERYTHINGS GOING TO BE TAKEN!!!!! Ok I’ve contacted 2 stores and from one they are full. I haven’t heard from the other.  I don’t know what to do anymore. This litterally SUCKS.  Goddd!! WHYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate work experience.  I really do.

Dreams

I realized that my dream is to sing.  In front of millions of people with a mic in my hand, them cheering.  Then singing along when I sang or just listening to me.  That is my dream.

And now my motto is the quote I gave before said by Walt Disney.  I know it doesn’t sound inspirational AT ALL.  But I find hope in it even if it is a fairy tale it gives me the motivation to go out there and make my dream come true.

Now I’m determined to become a singer and enter competitions and stuff.

Just felt like tellin’ y’all that :)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!

It seems that you just CAN’T have a bad St. Patrick’s day!!  At least for me anyways.  I mean even if it’s just a mediocre day, St. Patrick’s day just makes it extra special and a good day!  Let me share with you my day.

I woke up at my normal 10 minutes late.  Got up and made SURE that I was wearing my extra special green lucky charms t-shirt (which I found at Wal-Mart surprisingly!!) Everything was normal nothing was ACTUALLY different, well except for the fact that my dad was trying to pinch my arm but I showed him the bottom of my green t-shirt like a shield.  Then off to school.

On the way to school was really like no other, got there on time and then met up with my friends, Alaima and Alice. :) We got to school on time.

Got to school and I realized I brought the wrong History book.  Got to History class (as it was the first class of the day and it was a double) and got a laptop.  Turns out I didn’t need my book afterall.  :) I also learned the word ”oodles” hahhahahah I LOVE that word its so much fun to say out loud. Yeah, just say it out loud, you know you want to. :)

Then went to tutor and year assembly.  We found out the dentist couldn’t make it and so they had to create a substitute assembly.  It was mainly about our head teacher and how he went to Hawaii and competed on the Ropes course with this girl when he was WAY younger.

We then went to break and I was glad I wore green because a lot of pinching arms was involved :P

Science was, well, boring, but they mostly are.

In Math, I got bored because we were doing percentages and it was super easy and I already knew it so I sharpied my fingernails green. (Don’t worry they are fading).

Then Lunch came around and I went to look for my PE bag that I thought I had forgot in English.  Well, unfortunantly, it wasn’t in English and wasn’t in reception so we gave up then and ate lunch.  But here’s the funny thing, I wasn’t worried (I’m still not) and I wasn’t panicing like I normally do about lost items.

Went to ICT, and well it was computers and well, leaflets.  I’m doing mine on Cinderella :)) I couldn’t think of anything else to do it on.  My friend, Alaima, was doing her’s on F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (Although, I’m not sure what the dots are for).  So she decided to put actual friends on hers, so I was apart of friends for a day.  It was fun.

Then after school, we went hunting for my PE stuff again, but in the PE office and guess. what. it. wasn’t. there. hahaha Oh Well!! So then we couldn’t decide if we go to Gymnastics or Go Home, so I tried Alexa’s method, which was spinning around in circles and pointing at what we should go to.  I landed right smack in the middle of both of them.  So Alaima came up with a new method which sent us home.  We walked out and went to the park and swang or swung, I don’t know which.  Then we ran to the bus.

I walked from my bus stop without my coat on and I think that itself would be its own blog. :) Then I got home and watched some TV and I then went back out to get Alexa.

Alexa and I then went to the Mall for a little bit and Alexa got a pen.  Then we went to to McDonalds for dinner.  Then back home.

Overall it was a VERY good day.  And even through the rough parts I was happy! This was a wonderful day indeed. :D

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!!!!! :D

I’m Back!!

I’m so sorry for the wait of like nothing new on my blog.  I’ve been soooooo busy!!! So to recap what I haven’t told you is that during my break we did indeed go to Paris for my birthday. It was AMAZING!!!!!!! I loved it soooo much- I think my favorite food there was Croque Monsieur, which of course is excluding breakfast and dessert. Click here for a picture of Croque Monsieur.  We went to Louvre and saw the Mona Lisa and I think my favorite statue was this one : Sony 456We interpreted this one as either- Can you hear me now? or he was taking a picture of himself with his dead dragon to send to his mom. :) Either way we laughed.   Then I met up the next day with my friend who I hadn’t seen since I was in 4th grade and happened to move to Germany around the same time I moved here and we both visited Paris for our birthdays.  Talk about ironic!

So Paris was indeed AMAZING.   Then school has been hectic with tests that help decide my future and homework.  Yesterday, I got to go on a Dance trip and it was really fun!  But it started all on the way home.  My friend and I had missed the first bus and we decided to go to the bus stop before the school bus stop to get ahead of the crowd, but like I said before we missed the bus just before so we decided to go to the park right next to the bus stop and swing.  So we did.  Then we got on the bus and sat there and talked like a normal bus ride, then the handle on my book bag broke.  So I figured it was going to be an interesting walk home.  So I got to  my stop and pressed the stop button twice and the bus driver passed by my stop and got off at the next one and walked further home with a broken book bag.  Then I left for the Dance thing at 5:30 to pass the traffic so I wouldn’t be late.  I wasn’t, I was actually early, breaking my McIntyre curse- well its not actually a curse, but…- .  So then my friend and I left for the dance trip listening to a horrible radio station that only played two songs then had about a 5 minute commercials inbetween playing songs we didn’t even know.  But it was all good :).   So we watched the dance thing and it was reallllyyyyy good but really weird and had some moments where I couldn’t help but laugh.  Here is the trailer for it :

Oh, and did I mention on the way there my headphones broke, too.

Detentions

Okay first of all I want to tell y’all that my sister got onto my blog and well just ignore that.

Second of all, my school loooovvveeessss giving out detentions. :/ Seriously.  The first time I got a detention, was from my math teacher giving me a detention for not doing my homework that I WASN’T IN CLASS TO GET.  So my math teacher forgot about it and I never had to go to the detention.

The second time  I got a detention, was for being late to school.  Now I was 10 minutes late.  I get that, if I was on a late bus. WHICH I WASN’T.  I got on the bus at normal time and my friend got on at normal time and we were just sitting there talking the whole entire time when we got to school.  It was like empty and we were like, “We’re late? Wow! I didn’t know that!”  So we must have been in massive traffic. So we got in and – before I go on I want to mention that in my second week I was late twice in a row and never got a detention—the lady was stamping our planners LATE and she told us that she’d see all 20-30 students at detention that afternoon.  I was FURIOUS.  I’d never done anything wrong!!  It was the bus that made us late, not OUR fault.  So after school, I admit I was going to skip, but I saw a text from my mom and it said something like, “I heard  you got a detention and the lady said there were only a couple of students late, blah blah blah.” and I was even MORE furious!  Seriously, 20-30 students were late not 8.  Seriously, come on and they never asked why we were late!!!!  So Mom wrote a note for me to skip the detention and that seemed to work. :)

So last Monday, I was in PE feeling awful, and it was the day where we had to run the 12 minute run, where you HAVE to run for 12 minutes, no stopping.  Since it was the first day of the week, I almost always forget at least 1 thing.  This week it was my tennis shoes.  So I went and asked my PE teacher what I was supposed to do, and she was like, “Well, you can borrow some shoes from someone else or run barefoot, or get a detention.”  I ended up borrowing a pair of tennis shoes from one of my friends.  But another one of my friends, came into the locker room again, after she first left to go do the run and she said that she was going to get a detention for NOT PUTTING HER HAIR UP IN A STUPID PONY TAIL.  I told my dad and he gave me permission that if they say I have to do that or have a detention to go to the detention.  Come on, that is just stupid!!!

I’m sorry, but I don’t take their detentions seriously anymore.

i got dumped from josh

Jack the Ripper Tour/ London Dungeons

Yesterday my history class took a field trip to Whitechapel for a tour to see where Jack the Ripper killed his victims. Duh duh dunnnnnnnnnnnn!!!! Our Tour Guide was really funny and took us to almost all of the places that Jack the Ripper was. History trip and oompa loompas 066He was on the otherside of those doors… duh duh dunnnnnnnnn!!!! We know this because he left half of one of the victim’s bloody apron just behind those doors.  Our tour guide took us other places and then we crossed Tower Bridge.

History trip and oompa loompas 120

Then we ate and then went to the London Dungeons.  It was pretty gruesome and scary but it was fun nevertheless. :D

History trip and oompa loompas 129

Our tour guide was one of the actors at the London Dungeon in 1998 and he has a video of it as well.  Here is the video, its pretty long and I haven’t watched the whole thing but it should be interesting to y’all. :D

What do you post when you have nothing really to say?

A movie quote. :)

Somebody asked me today, "Phil, if you could be anywhere in the world, where would you like to be?" And I said to him, "Prob'ly right here - Elko, Nevada, our nation's high at 79 today." Out in California, they're gonna have some warm weather tomorrow, gang wars, and some *very* overpriced real estate. Up in the Pacific Northwest, as you can see, they're gonna have some very, very tall trees.

:)

Have a good week!! :D

What a week… so far

Okay I’ve had an interesting couple of days.

Monday I got up on time but got to the bus stop late and got a later bus because it just was late.  I got the bus with my friend and I had a good day.  Although, I was so tired in English when people were reading out loud this book we would have read for the 6th time I pretty much fell asleep.  I mean I didn’t ACTUALLY fall asleep my eye lids would drop then I would have to muster up all the will-power I had just to open them and then do it over again.

Tuesday my mother woke me up 5 minutes before I was supposed to leave, I rushed and got to school a little late.

Today… I woke up on time got out of the house on time to see a new blanket of snow on the yard (well what it is of a yard) and I walked further out into the white day with snow falling pretty hard.  It was beautiful I took my time getting to the bus stop but I wasn’t late.  I got to the bus stop at 7:52, the time I’m supposed to get there.  I waited and waited and waited and I finally checked the time on my iPhone.  8:03.  Weird, but It’ll come, I said to myself.  I waited some more and it was 8:14.  I was starting to panic because school starts at 8:30.  I wait a little more and its 8:20 I start trying to call my dad and  my mother.  But the calls wouldn’t go through.  I tried looking at the website but it kept going to something different. So finally after 40 minutes, 8:30.  I left the bus stop cold, wet, and mad.  I walked home with freezing toes, so cold I could not feel them.  I finally got home to see my sister about to leave.  They looked at me in bewilderment (haha big word) asking me, “Why are you here?” I said, “40 minutes I was standing at the bus stop for a bus that wouldn’t come so I gave up. “  I planned on just staying home school or no school, because if I didn’t have a bus to get there, how was I going to get there? I got on my laptop and looked at the website.  No school.

Well, the bright side is that I’m in a warm house with no school to go to. :)

Let’s see how tomorrow goes.

I used to think…

I used to think a blog was a place where you could chat with your friends.

I used to think boxing day was where everyone gathered around the TV and watched boxing all day.

I used to think Dubai was in South America and you would have to speak Spanish there.

I used to think my sister was normal. (hehe just had to put that… Love you ‘Lexa!)

I used to think Elmo was a girl.

I used to think the word “southern” was pronounced “south-ern”

I used to think the words in the song Complicated by Avril Lavigne said, “Constipated” instead of “Complicated”.

I used to think the words in the song All I Wanna Do by Cheyrl Crow said, “Until the sun comes up over synomonic espionage” instead of “Until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard.” – Don’t ask me how I got that, I don’t know myself.

I used to think that Continental was the best… not for international stuff, now I know better.  14 over bookings?? Then having some random dude knock me off of my seat and sending me between two guys I don’t know.  Continental sucks.

I used to think Po was a girl too… Wait what is it????

I used to think that Piglet was a girl, also!! What is up with this????

I used to believe all of those kids advertisements that come up on Nick. You know like the moon sand and aqua sand, except so much better… and older.

I used to think my heart was actually shaped like a heart.

I used to think that the vacuum cleaner would suck my toes off if they got caught.

I used to think the Teletubbies and Barney were the coolest.

I used to think my mom was cool but then she told me that I had made the closet all “wompy jaw”.

I used to think that paper was the same size everywhere in the world.

I used to think that these would be easy to come up with.

I think I should go now…

Movie Quote somethin’

Okay I’m still here and working on 2 other posts sooo don’t worry but I absolutely LOVE this movie although I haven’t seen it in forever. See if you can guess it!!

Okay, he either said, "move to the back of the throat," or he "wants a root beer float".

Hey, look. "Esc-a-pay". I wonder what that means? That's funny, it's spelled just like the word "escape."

No, no, no eating here tonight, you're on a diet!

and I have one more but it would give it away to fast… :) so I’m not gonna put it
