I feel so loved… *said sarcastically*

Okay the Saturday before we left to go to Texas, I was at the mall with my friend and Mom, Dad and Alexa were going to meet me there so I didn’t have to go back home alone.  Me and my friend were walking to the Apple Store to take pictures of ourselves on the Macs, when I saw Mom.  I was like, “Hey! That’s my Mom!” and we both stood there as she walked right past.  She didn’t even NOTICE me!!!!  We started laughing.  Then we followed her and then walked past her AGAIN.  She STILL didn’t notice me.  We laughed again and then went up to her. 

Well today we had gone to the mall to, you know, shop.  So we had gone to Bath and Body Works and we were going to Justice next.  My feet were hurting anyways because I was wearing new shoes. So I decided that while Mom and Alexa checked-out I would just sit down on the display thing.  So I sat down and took my shoes off to see that I had a blister on both heels.  Luckily only one was open.  So I kept them off and looked at stuff to entertain me.  About 8 minutes later I was thinking, this has got to be a really long line.  Well when they come out they’ll say “Amber! Come on! We’re leaving!”  Well, that was NOT the case.  I sat there for at least 15 minutes when I heard a knock on the glass behind me.  My mom was standing there motioning to come on.  Apparently they had walked out with out noticing me.  Thanks.

We got to the table and I sat there while Grandma got cookies and drinks for us and Mom went somewhere. They got back and we were leaving. I wanted to switch arms with my purse and as I did that I saw them walking off not even LOOKING back.  So I hurried up and got behind them.  We got downstairs when Alexa said, “Where’s Amber?”  So if I was still up  there they wouldn’t have noticed me gone until then.  I feel loved.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Yesterday it snowed pretty much all school day!  I sat right next to the window in Science so ALL class I was watching the beautiful snow outside.  Then we finally got out of school and we had a little snowball fight :) and it was SO much fun!  It was SO beautiful too!!!  It snowed all my walk home and then I got inside and I did something and it stopped.  So today it was just supposed to be sunny and cold.  It snowed just a hint and not really anything special.  BUT NOW its SNOWING SUPER HARD!! Apparently its supposed to be like a blizzard tonight and its ammmaaaazzzzinnnngggg :) but since its my last day of school tomorrow and I have a half day I still have to go to school snow or not :/ but oh well!!!! SNOW!!!!!!!!  Its sooo beautiful and ammaaazzzziiinnnnnggg :D

Interview

I had citizenship homework last night. Your probably thinking, “What is citizenship?” or you may already know what it is… but I’m going to tell you anyways.  Its a class where we learn about laws and diseases and other stuff… I think. You’d think the citizenship teacher would be really nice and you know, citizenshiply, well she's not.  She yells at us EVERY class!  But that's besides the point.  Last night for the homework I had to interview three family members on Young Adults and Alcohol.  Naturally, I chose my mom, my dad, and my sister.  I got all of their answers and Alexa’s was the funniest!!!  Especially as she said these through the most serious, straight face I’d seen her have. 

1.At present the law says you must be 18 to go into a pub and buy alcohol. Why do you think this law was passed?

-Because you have to be older than 16 to do it, but not 17 because you have to be 18.

2. Do you think it would be a good idea to lower this age limit to 16? Give reasons.

-No, because 16 is a lower age because if your 14 you only have 2 years left.  It would be a bad idea because they could drink the alcohol or pour it into a pond and make the fish die.

3. How easy is it for young people under 18 in your area to obtain alcohol?

-It stinks.

4.What kinds of problems can under-age drinking cause?

-Them to get drunk and start dancing like a 6 year old.

5. In what ways could these problems be reduced?

-Put the age up to 349.

I tried so hard to contain my laughs, I couldn’t take it anymore at number 3 and started cracking up laughing.   I am also surprised I didn’t get an “I don’t know” for any of them! I love her. :)
